Yahad in the Galil - A Taste for Colour
The Yahad special needs community is based on Kibbutz Mahanayim in the Upper Galilee. One might wonder what is different about this community there are many special needs communities. The community works on an individual level trying to bring out the best in each individual. I would recommend going to the site and watching the video and then going to the wall posts to see the stunning pictures produced by Matan Pelles. To use the coloquial term 'I was blown away' The pictures very much reminded me of Gauguin's style.
